Hello!
My name is Maria, I am a character designer, visual development artist, illustrator and comic artist.
It brings me so much joy to create characters and worlds, bring them to life, and tell stories that people can enjoy, relate to, and find comfort in. I think storytelling is a beautiful form of art and an important means of communication.
I love finding inspiration from everything that surrounds me, from taking long walks in nature, going to museums, learning about history and legends, to listening to conversations or sketching the people around me, both strangers and not (yes, I will draw every single one of my friends).
When I’m not sketching, doing a painting study or staring into the void, I like to hike, write, watch nature documentaries and play board games.
